Thanasi Kokkinakis edged out Alexei Popyrin 6-0, 6-7 (5), 7-5 on Monday. He’ll play top seed Andrey Rublev in the next round

Wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis moved into the second round of the Adelaide International 2 by edging out wildcard Alexei Popyrin 6-0, 6-7 (5), 7-5 at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Monday.
Kokkinakis, ranked No 110, will face top seed Andrey Rublev next.
