Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the second seed, won the Cincinnati Masters trophy when Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, retired at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Monday evening.
Alcaraz, ranked No 2, led 5-0 when Sinner, ranked No 1, pulled out on Monday evening at the Lindner Family Tennis Center due to illness.
