Astana Open: Korda comes through tough Popyrin test to reach second round
Sebastian Korda edged out Alexei Popyrin 7-6 (5), 6-7 (4), 6-4 and will play Portuguese Nuno Borges in the next round

American Sebastian Korda, the No 5 seed, edged out Australian Alexei Popyrin 7-6 (5), 6-7 (4), 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Astana Open at the Daulet National Tennis Center.
Korda, ranked No 28, will play Portuguese Nuno Borges next.
