Astana Open: Shimabukuro moves into second round
Sho Shimabukuro won against Roberto Carballes Baena 6-2, 6-4 on Thursday and will play top seed Tallon Griekspoor in the next round

Japanese qualifier Sho Shimabukuro advanced to the second round of the Astana Open by winning against Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 6-2, 6-4 at the Daulet National Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.
Shimabukuro, ranked No 148, will face top seed Tallon Griekspoor next.
