ATP Adelaide Open: Korda moves into last eight
Sebastian Korda beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3, 6-3 on Wednesday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 8 seed, and Australian wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis in the next round

American Sebastian Korda, the second seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Adelaide International by winning against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3, 6-3 at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
This was the American’s first match since the US Open in August after which he underwent elbow surgery.
Korda, ranked No 22, will face the winner of the match between Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 8 seed, and Australian wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis next.
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 68, defeated Roberto Bautista Agut (7-5, 6-2) in the previous round of the tournament.
