Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz continued his reign atop the ATP rankings with the top 10 remaining stagnant in a fairly quiet post-Wimbledon week. The 20-year-old, who played in the Hopman Cup event last week which does not offer any ranking points, began his 29th week in a row at world No 1.

Novak Djokovic, who pulled out of the Canadian Masters and will now look to bridge his 580-point gap against the Spaniard at Cincinnati and the US Open, remains at No 2. The top 10 remains constant this week with the top two followed by Daniil Medvedev at No 3, Casper Ruud at no 4, Stefanos Tsitsipas at No 5, Holger Rune at No 6, Bastad winner Andrey Rublev at No 7, Jannik Sinner at No 8, Taylor Fritz at No 9, and Frances Tiafoe at No 10.

Former world no 3 Grigor Dimitrov moves up one spot to No 20, his first time back in the top 20 since August 2022.

Mannarino and Cachin make a big move in the ATP rankings after winning titles

The other two weekend winners – France’s Adrian Mannarino and Italy’s Pedro Cachin – see big jumps in the ATP rankings this week.

Newport champion Mannarino jumps 11 spots to No 27. The 35-year-old Frenchman peaked at No 22 in the rankings in March 2018 and could become one of the oldest players to make a top 20 debut if he continues his rise over the American summer.

Cachin, who picked his first career singles title in Gstaad on Sunday, shoots up 41 spots to no 49, a new career-high for the 28-year-old from Argentina. Gstaad runner-up Albert Ramos-Vinolas moves up 14 places to No 65.

France’s Hugo Gaston also makes a big move – rising 28 spots to No 92 after winning the ATP Challenger title in Trieste over the weekend.
