Auckland Open: Nardi books spot in second round
Luca Nardi benefited from the abandonment of Flavio Cobolli on Tuesday. He’ll face Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs in the next round

Qualifier Luca Nardi moved into the second round of the Auckland Open when No 6 seed Flavio Cobolli retired on Tuesday at the ASB Tennis Arena.
Nardi, ranked No 90, led 6-2, 1-1 when Cobolli, ranked No 32, pulled out.
Luca Nardi will face Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs next.
