Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs reached the second round of the Auckland Open by winning against New Zealander wildcard Isaac Becroft 6-3, 7-5 at the ASB Tennis Arena on Monday.

Bergs, ranked No 66, will face the winner of the match between qualifier Luca Nardi and No 6 seed Flavio Cobolli next.
