Banja Luka Open: Lajovic advances to quarter-finals

Dusan Lajovic defeated Gregoire Barrere 6-3, 6-0 on Thursday and will face Serb Novak Djokovic, the top seed, in the next round

Serb Dusan Lajovic moved into the quarter-finals of the Banja Luka Open by beating Frenchman Gregoire Barrere, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-0 at the Tennis Klub Mladost on Thursday.

Lajovic, ranked No 70, will face Serb Novak Djokovic, the top seed, next.

The Serb edged out Filip Krajinovic (6-2, 4-6, 6-4) in the previous round of the Banja Luka tournament.

During the first round of the Banja Luka tournament, Barrere, ranked No 57, won against Serb wildcard Hamad Medjedovic (7-6 (6), 7-5).
