Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open: Musetti books spot in last eight

Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the top seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open by edging out Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday.

Musetti, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Chak Lam Coleman Wong and Canadian Gabriel Diallo, the No 6 seed, next.

In the previous round, Etcheverry, ranked No 57, won against Frenchman Valentin Royer (6-4, 7-5).
