Barcelona Open: Arnaldi into second round to face Baez
The Italian benefited from the retirement of Arthur Cazaux at 5-5 in the first set on Monday

Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi reached the second round of the Barcelona Open when Frenchman Arthur Cazaux retired on Monday at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona.
Arnaldi, ranked No 40, led 5-5 when Cazaux, ranked No 75, pulled out at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Monday afternoon.
The Italian will face No 8 seed Sebastian Baez next.
