American Sebastian Korda advanced to the second round of the Belgrade Open by edging out Australian Alexei Popyrin, the No 7 seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Belgrade Arena on Sunday evening.
Korda, ranked No 54, will play the winner of the match between Bosnian Damir Dzumhur and Englishman Jacob Fearnley next.
