Bucharest Open: Fucsovics fights back to beat Moutet, books spot in last four

Hungarian Marton Fucsovics defeated Frenchman Corentin Moutet 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the Bucharest Open at the National Tennis Centre.

Fucsovics, ranked No 82, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian wildcard Joao Fonseca and Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 4 seed, next.

The Hungarian won against Monégasque qualifier Valentin Vacherot (7-6 (8), 6-2) and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the second seed (7-5, 6-1) earlier in the tournament.

In the previous rounds of the Bucharest tournament, Moutet, ranked No 92, won against Canadian wildcard Denis Shapovalov (6-4, 6-2) and Portuguese Nuno Borges, the No 7 seed (6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-2).
