Bucharest Open: Martinez beats Wawrinka to snap six-match losing streak
The Spaniard will play Bosnian Damir Dzumhur in the next round

Spaniard Pedro Martinez, the second seed, won against Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Bucharest Open at the Năstase & Marica Sports Club. on Thursday.
Martinez, ranked No 47, had lost six matches in a row on the tour and this was his first win since mid-February when he reached the semi-finals of the Argentina Open. The Spaniard will play Bosnian Damir Dzumhur next.
In the previous round of the tournament, Wawrinka, ranked No 161, edged out Kazakh qualifier Timofey Skatov (6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (1)).
