Chengdu Open: Vukic beats Coric in first round
The Australian will face No 4 seed Pedro Martinez Portero in the next round

Australian Aleksandar Vukic edged out Croat Borna Coric 3-6, 7-6 (9), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Chengdu Open at the Sichuan International Tennis Center on Thursday.
The Australian notably saved two match points in the second set tiebreaker to later claim the win.
Vukic, ranked No 92, will face No 4 seed Pedro Martinez Portero next.
