China Open: Jarry stuns Tsitsipas to reach the second round

Nicolas Jarry earend a big upset as he reached the second round of the China Open by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 4 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing.

It was the first appearances for both players since their US Open campaigns, but it was the Chilean who looked much sharped than the fourth seed, taking both sets with a single break to deservedly move in the last 16.

Jarry, ranked No 23, will face Italian qualifier Matteo Arnaldi next.
