Tiafoe topples Musetti in round two of Cincinnati Masters
Frances Tiafoe picked up one of his best wins in 2024 on Wednesday, beating Lorenzo Musetti in the Cincinnati second round. Tiafoe will meet either Daniil Medvedev or Jiri Lehecka for a place in the quarterfinals.

American Frances Tiafoe reached the last 16 of the Western & Southern Open by defeating Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 14 seed, 6-3, 6-2 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Tiafoe, ranked No 26, will face the winner of the match between Jiri Lehecka and Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 4 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the American knocked off Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (6-3, 7-6 (6)).
Musetti, ranked No 18, edged out Chilean Nicolas Jarry (4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4)) in the previous round of the Cincinnati Masters.
