Citi Open: Dimitrov reaches last 16 after three-set battle against Mannarino

Grigor Dimitrov edged out Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 on Wednesday. He’ll play American Sebastian Korda in the next round

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Citi Open by edging out Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center in Washington on Wednesday.

Dimitrov, ranked No 19, will face American Sebastian Korda next.

Mannarino, ranked No 67, won against American wildcard Bradley Klahn (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Citi Open, Washington D.C.
