Citi Open: Shelton moves into last four

No 4 seed Ben Shelton beat No 6 seed Frances Tiafoe 7-6 (2), 6-4 to reach the last four of the Citi Open at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington on Saturday night.

Shelton, ranked No 8, will face the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 12 seed, next.
