Dallas Open: Fritz through to second round

American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, won against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Dallas Open at the Ford Center at The Star on Wednesday.
Fritz used only 67 minutes to overcome Rinderknech.
He hit 11 aces and broke the Frenchman thrice, meanwhile keeping his serve unchallenged to prevail in the first round.
Fritz, ranked No 4, will face the winner of the match between Serb Miomir Kecmanovic and Canadian Denis Shapovalov next.
