Dallas Open: Duckworth advances to last eight, takes out fifth seed Eubanks

Australian James Duckworth reached the last 8 of the Dallas Open by defeating American Christopher Eubanks, the No 5 seed, 7-6 (3), 6-4 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Wednesday evening.
Duckworth, ranked No 106, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 4 seed, and Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka next.
Ahead of his victory, the Australian won against American Zachary Svajda (7-6 (3), 6-1).
Eubanks, ranked No 33, won against qualifier Steve Johnson (6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the Dallas tournament.
