Australian James Duckworth advanced to the second round of the Dallas Open by beating American Zachary Svajda 7-6 (3), 6-1 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Duckworth, ranked No 106, will face the winner of the match between Steve Johnson and No 5 seed Christopher Eubanks next.
