Delray Beach Open: Albot makes last eight

Radu Albot defeated Australian lucky loser Aleksandar Vukic 6-4, 6-4 to move into the last eight of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Thursday evening.
Albot, ranked No 113, will face the winner of the match between Denis Kudla and second seed Tommy Paul next.
Ahead of his victory, Radu Albot won against Spanish wildcard Fernando Verdasco (7-6 (3), 7-6 (1)).
Vukic, ranked No 171, edged out American qualifier Christopher Eubanks (6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament.
