Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 7 seed, won against American Alex Michelsen, the No 3 seed, 7-6 (3), 6-3 to move into the final of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 56, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 8 seed, and Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 4 seed, next.
The Serb defeated Croat Borna Gojo (6-4, 6-4), Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (W/O) and American Marcos Giron, the No 5 seed (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Delray Beach tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Michelsen, ranked No 37, benefited from the abandonment of qualifier Michael Mmoh (6-7 (8), 3-0) and won against Cameron Norrie (7-6 (3), 7-5).
