Djere defeats Cerundolo in Santiago semi-finals
Laslo Djere got the best of Francisco Cerundolo in a three-set match on Saturday in Santiago. Djere awaits either Sebastian Baez or Camilo Ugo Carabelli in the final.

Djere advanced to the final of the Chile Open by knocking off Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the top seed, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 at the Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago de Chile on Saturday afternoon.
Djere, ranked No 103, will next face the winner of the match between No 3 seed Sebastian Baez and Camilo Ugo Carabelli.
The Serb previously defeated Peruvian wildcard Ignacio Buse (6-3, 6-4), Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero, the No 4 seed (6-1, 6-4) and Portuguese Jaime Faria (7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-4).
Cerundolo, ranked No 26, advanced to the semi-finals with wins over German Yannick Hanfmann (6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (5)) and No 5 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry (4-6, 6-3, 7-5).
