Australian Alexei Popyrin reached the second round of the Dubai Open by defeating Lebanese wildcard Hady Habib 6-2, 6-4 at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Monday.
Popyrin, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between Croat Marin Cilic and Australian Alex De Minaur, the second seed, next.
