Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 6 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Dutch Open by defeating Australian Alexei Popyrin 6-3, 6-2 at the Autotron Rosmalen in s-Hertogenbosch on Thursday.
Griekspoor, ranked No 38, will play the winner of the match between Serb Laslo Djere and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 4 seed, next.
The Dutchman won against Swede Mikael Ymer (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rosmalen.
In the previous round of the’s-Hertogenbosch tournament, Popyrin, ranked No 90, beat French wildcard Arthur Rinderknech (6-3, 7-6 (6)).
