Eastbourne Open: Kecmanovic beats Vukic to reach quarter-finals

Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 8 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne Open by winning against Australian qualifier Aleksandar Vukic 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 41, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Gregoire Barrere and Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 5 seed, next.
The Serb defeated Chinese Yibing Wu (7-6 (4), 7-6 (5)) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Vukic, ranked No 91, edged out American Brandon Nakashima (6-7 (5), 7-6 (3), 7-6 (5)).
