European Open: Tsitsipas reaches quarter-finals

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the top seed, won against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 7-5, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the European Open at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on Thursday evening.

Tsitsipas, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between Austrian Dominic Thiem and German Yannick Hanfmann, the No 5 seed, next.

Van de Zandschulp, ranked No 67, beat Swiss Dominic Stricker (6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Antwerp Open.
