Variety is the spice of life, especially when you have been on Tour as long as Roger Federer.
And so even as he begins to build up his strength and agility in the gym as he prepares for a possible return to the ATP Tour later this year, the 40-year-old is keeping things nicely balanced with a bit of me-time in Italy.
Federer, who hopes to be back on court later this year after knee surgery that has kept him away since last year’s Wimbledon, posted some photos on his social media feed, showing him enjoying himself in Venice.
Earlier this week, Federer showed he’s lost none of his fancy footwork as he stepped up his gym work.
Federer is committed to the Laver Cup, which will be held in London in September and said earlier this year that he hoped to be back on court later this summer, though Wimbledon looks to be too early for his return.
