Bautista Agut overturns Lehecka in Kitzbühel

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 3 seed, reached the last four of the Generali Open by edging out Czech Jiri Lehecka 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club on Thursday afternoon.

Bautista Agut, ranked No 20, will play No 5 seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas next.

Ahead of his victory, the 34-year-old Spaniard won against Austrian wildcard Jurij Rodionov (6-1, 6-4).

Lehecka, ranked No 68, defeated Brazilian Thiago Monteiro (7-6 (6), 6-4) and Portuguese João Sousa, the No 8 seed (7-6 (6), 1-6, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Kitzbuhel.
