Taylor Fritz at the 2023 Rome Masters
Second seed Taylor Fritz beat Marcos Giron 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Geneva Open at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Wednesday.
Fritz, ranked No 9, will play Belarusian Ilya Ivashka next.
Giron, ranked No 74, won against Kazakh Alexander Bublik (6-0, 6-4) in the previous round of the Geneva tournament.
