Geneva Open: Zverev through to quarter-finals

Alexander Zverev defeated Christopher Eubanks (6-2, 6-3) on Tuesday to qualify for the quarter-finals.

German Alexander Zverev, the No 3 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Geneva Open by beating American Christopher Eubanks in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) on Tuesday.

Zverev, ranked No 27, will now face the winner of the match between Chinese Yibing Wu and Italian Marco Cecchinato next.

Eubanks, ranked No 75, won against French wildcard Benoit Paire (7-6 (2), 6-3) in the previous round of the Geneva tournament.
