Giron cruises into Acapulco second round
Marcos Giron took care of Adam Walton in straight sets on Monday in Acapulco. Giron awaits either Tommy Paul or Gabriel Diallo in the second round.

American Marcos Giron defeated Australian qualifier Adam Walton 7-6 (4), 6-2 to reach the second round of the Mexican Open at the Arena GNP Seguros in Acapulco on Monday night.
Giron, ranked No 52, will next play the winner of a match between Canadian qualifier Gabriel Diallo and American Tommy Paul, the No 3 seed.
