Hall of Fame Open: Bolt upsets Nakashima to make quarter-finals

Australian qualifier Alex Bolt reached the quarter-finals of the Hall of Fame Open by beating American Brandon Nakashima, the No 5 seed, 7-6 (2), 6-4 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport on Wednesday night.
Bolt, ranked No 210, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Benoit Paire and American Marcos Giron, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Newport tournament, the Australian won against Jakub Mensik (6-2, 6-4).
Nakashima, ranked No 53, defeated Emilio Nava (7-5, 6-2) in the previous round of the Newport tournament.
