Hamburg Open: Cerundolo crushes Marterer to move into quarter-finals

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, beat German wildcard Maximilian Marterer 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Hamburg Open at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center.
Cerundolo, ranked No 33, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Ugo Blanchet and Spaniard Pedro Martinez next.
The Argentinian won against lucky loser Francisco Comesana (7-5, 6-4) in the previous round of the Hamburg tournament.
In the previous round of the Hamburg tournament, Marterer, ranked No 108, edged out SoonWoo Kwon (6-4, 6-7 (6), 7-5).
