Hamburg Open: Lajovic into second round

Serb Dusan Lajovic moved into the second round of the Hamburg Open by beating Brazilian qualifier Felipe Meligeni Alves 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-3 at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center.

Lajovic, ranked No 55, will play the winner of the match between German Dominik Koepfer and Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 3 seed, next.
