Bosnian qualifier Damir Dzumhur moved into the second round of the Indian Wells Masters by edging out Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (4) in California on Wednesday night.
Dzumhur, ranked No 84, will play No 16 seed Frances Tiafoe next.
