Hungarian Marton Fucsovics won against Slovak Alex Molcan 6-4, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Indian Wells Masters at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Monday night.
Fucsovics, ranked No 84, will play American Taylor Fritz, the No 4 seed, next.
The Hungarian beat J.J. Wolf (1-6, 6-0, 6-3) and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 16 seed (6-4, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters, Molcan, ranked No 63, won against Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (6-3, 6-2) and Croat Borna Coric, the No 18 seed (6-3, 6-3).
