Japan Open: Kecmanovic books spot in second round, defeating Seoul champion Nishioka
Miomir Kecmanovic won against Yoshihito Nishioka 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-2 on Wednesday

Serb Miomir Kecmanovic advanced to the second round of the Japan Open by defeating Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-2 at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Nishioka was the best Japanese chance at the Tokyo Open after winning the second ATP title of his career at Seoul last week.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 33, will face No 8 seed Daniel Evans next.
