ATP Korea Open: O’Connell retires, Tseng advances to second round

Chun-Hsin Tseng benefited from the abandonment of Christopher O’Connell (6-4, 0-0) on Tuesday

Chun-Hsin Tseng moved into the second round of the Korea Open when Australian Christopher O’Connell retired at the Seoul Olympic Park on Tuesday.

Tseng, ranked No 88, led 6-4, 0-0 when O’Connell, ranked No 105, pulled out at the Seoul Olympic Park on Tuesday night.

Chun-Hsin Tseng will play American lucky loser Aleksandar Kovacevic next.
