Los Cabos Open: Rublev advances to semi-finals

Russian Andrey Rublev, the top seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Los Cabos Open by winning against American Emilio Nava 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Friday night.
Rublev, ranked No 10, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Juan Pablo Ficovich and American Aleksandar Kovacevic, the No 7 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Russian defeated Mexican wildcard Juan Alejandro Hernández Serrano (6-3, 6-2).
Nava, ranked No 123, edged out Chinese Yunchaokete Bu, the No 6 seed (3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (6)) and won against Australian Aleksandar Vukic (7-6 (4), 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Los Cabos tournament.
