Lyon Open: Cachin beats Monfils to reach second round
Pedro Cachin edged out Gael Monfils (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) on Tuesday. He’ll now face Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed.

Argentinian Pedro Cachin edged out French wildcard Gaël Monfils (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) to reach the second round of the Lyon Open at Parc de la Tête d’or on Tuesday.
Monfils pulled all the tricks but, in the end, couldn’t find a way through the Argentinian.
Cachin, ranked No 63, will now face Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed.
