Marrakech Open: Darderi through to semi-finals
The Italian will face Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, the No 5 seed, for a place in the final

Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 7 seed, beat Vit Kopriva 7-5, 6-2 to move into the last four of the Marrakech Open at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Friday.
Darderi, ranked No 57, will face Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, the No 5 seed, next.
In the previous rounds of the tournament, the Italian won against American Tristan Boyer (6-4, 6-4) and Frenchman Hugo Gaston (2-6, 6-2, 6-3).
Kopriva, ranked No 106, edged out Croat Borna Gojo (2-6, 6-2, 6-4) and Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the second seed (6-2, 5-7, 6-4) earlier in the week.
