Marrakech Open: Griekspoor makes last eight

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 4 seed, edged out Swedish qualifier Elias Ymer 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last eight of the Marrakech Open at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Thursday.

Griekspoor, ranked No 35, will face Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena next.

In the previous round of the Moroccan Open, Ymer, ranked No 157, beat Moroccan wildcard Adam Moundir (6-4, 7-6 (6)).
