Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the top seed, defeated Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta 7-6 (1), 3-6, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the Marrakech Open at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Thursday afternoon.
Griekspoor, ranked No 37, will play Italian Mattia Bellucci, the No 8 seed, next.
Carreno Busta, ranked No 110, won against Moroccan wildcard Younes Lalami Laaroussi (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round of the Marrakech tournament.
