Marrakech Open: Kopriva upsets second seed Sonego to reach quarter-finals

Vit Kopriva moved into the last eight of the Marrakech Open by edging out Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the second seed, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Thursday.

Kopriva, ranked No 106, will face Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 7 seed, next.

Vit Kopriva edged out Croat Borna Gojo (2-6, 6-2, 6-4) ahead of his win today.
