Marrakech Open: Kotov advances to second round
Pavel Kotov won against Elliot Benchetrit 7-5, 6-3 on Monday evening and will face the winner of the match between Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh and Italian Flavio Cobolli, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Russian Pavel Kotov moved into the second round of the Marrakech Open by winning against Moroccan wildcard Elliot Benchetrit 7-5, 6-3 at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Monday.
Kotov, ranked No 68, will face the winner of the match between Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh and Italian Flavio Cobolli, the No 8 seed, next.
