Marseille Open: Bonzi edges Fils, sets up Hurkacz clash in final

Benjamin Bonzi advanced to the final of the Marseille Open by winning against wild card Arthur Fils 6-4, 6-4 at the Palais des sports de Marseille on Saturday.
Bonzi, ranked No 60, will face Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the top seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, Benjamin Bonzi beat wildcard Luca Van Assche (7-5, 7-5), American Maxime Cressy, the No 5 seed (6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3) and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 3 seed (6-2, 6-4).
Fils, ranked No 118, defeated Russian Roman Safiullin (6-4, 6-3), Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed (W/O) and Swiss Stan Wawrinka (6-2, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Open de Provence.
