Marseille Open: Medjedovic stuns Khachanov in first round

Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic won against Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 3 seed, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports on Wednesday evening.
Medjedovic, ranked No 96, will face German Daniel Altmaier next.
The 21-year-old Serb beat Belgian Raphael Collignon (6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
